A Busy Thanksgiving Weekend

The day after Thanksgiving we went on out annual Shopping trip. We were up at 4:30am to be there at 5am. What a blast we had!

Then on Saturday we went to Cypress Gardens with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Bub, Aunt Mel, Michaela and Caedence. Jeremy got to go on all the rides with Alexander. It was so much fun.

Then on Sunday we went to see Santa Clause. Alexander did really good, he was interested in his beard and glasses. Mia got him and Evie the really cute matching reindeer outfits...in fact it was one of our Black Friday finds!

After seeing Santa Mia wanted to take him and Evie to make a Rudolph at Build a bear. He really love his bight red light up nose and bell on his neck!

Alexander's first Thanksgiving

What a Busy day! First we went to see the Causey Clan at Midway, we had tons of yummy food. I think his favorite was the pumpkin pie!Alexander enjoyed meeting and seeing all of of the family. We had the hardest time finding him a Thanksgiving shirt but Aunt Buff found one! It was so cute, it said "I am thankful for Mommy and Daddy" he was a big hit in it.

Alexander really enjoyed playing with his cousin Evie at Mia's house. I am not sure Evie was so excited about sharing the car though! It was the funniest thing watching her climb in it with him. By the end of Thanksgiving weekend they were best friends.
They even took a bath together.

Day 5 and 6 NYC

On the last day in NYC we went to a huge mall down the road from Auntie Brenda's house. Grandma got a wheel chair because her foot is still fractured and Alexander LOVED it. He would look at the wheels on it. We even raced Grandma a couple of time.

Day 6 in the city was a day of rest and packing. Our flight home left at 3:30pm, and Alexander slept half the way back. It was so nice to get home and have so sweet tea!

NYC Day 4

We went into the city and went straight to Tavern on the Green...While we waited for our table we went out to see the horses.

At Tavern on the Green we set in the Crystal Room which has the chandelier from "Gone with the Wind" in it. It is the large green one in the middle of the room.

And then I got to ice skate at Rockefeller Center! It was awesome! There was not a line and we did not have a lot of time so I did not get to skate long but it was so much fun!

Then on to my favorite part of the trip, the Rocketts. They were AWESOME! It was amazing to see them move at the exact time! Alexander did so well he fell asleep as soon as the show started and woke up at the end.

Day 3 NYC

Today was a short day in the City, we went to china town to get some purses and other good stuff. As you can see it was pretty cold, thank God aunt Missy got Alexander that so cute puppy hat.
We took the boat back over to Jersey and had a beautiful view of New York City even if the picture is a little blurry.
Auntie Brenda has a pretty dog named Shelby and Alexander wanted to play with her so bad but she was not so fond of him.

Day 2 NYC

We took the train into the city, it was so cool! Alexander loved the train station and getting to see all the other trains pass through. It took us about 30 min on the train to get into the city and Alexander slept the whole way. He is such a good boy!

First we did a little shopping at Macy's and Lord and Taylor's. All the Christmas decorations were beautiful! Then we went to see a play, Alexander did very good he watched the first 45 mins of it and slept for the rest. I guess he thought he better catch some ZZZZZ while he can.
Here is Grandma and Alexander on their way to Juniors' (an amazing restaurant in NYC). The yellow building is the Empire State Building.
Alexander enjoyed so awesome Mac and Cheese at Juniors'. He had it everywhere including all over me! We had such a great first day in the city and I was very pleased with how Alexander did with the fast paced atmosphere of New York.

Day 1 NYC

When we arrived in New Jersey, Auntie Brenda took us to Van Suan Park.

How beautiful is this red tree.
Alexander really enjoyed playing in the leaves. He kept trying to eat them, but he found out they did not taste good.
All the colors are so amazing!
His favorite thing at the park was the slide. He could almost do it by himself because it was so little!

On the way to NYC

Look there is our plane!
Alexander did really good on the way there. I thought he would have gone to sleep since we had to be up at 5 am to get to the airport on time, but I guess he was not tired. He stayed up and played the whole way. It was very HOT on the plane so I stripped him down.
We had the best stewardess, her name was Melanie and Alexander loved her. She gave him his first set of wings for his first flight.

Our little boy is now 10 months...
He is doing all sorts of new stuff and looking bigger everyday! In fact just tonight I was putting lotion on him and noticed that he legs have little hairs on them. I could not believe it! His teeth seem to be almost all the way in and he loves to use them. I have tried to let him take bites of food and he thinks it is so funny! He is now doing the sign for "more" all the time, sometimes I am not sure what he wants more of.... He really loves to feed himself. He is pretty much eating what I eat but I do still feed him at least one fruit and one veggie baby food a day. He is such a flirt! Where ever we go he smiles and laughs at everyone that will look his way and with those big blue eyes his has their hearts!

Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Cypress Gardens. He got to ride on the train, the old cars and the carousel.
It was so much Fun!

Me and Granny made a trip to the Eagle Ridge mall in Lake Wales and of all the stuff in the play area Alexander loved the dump truck!
Go figure!

Happy First Halloween

Alexander had a huge first halloween celebration! When he woke up and Grandpa and Grandma has a bag of goodies for him....I think he loved the Elmo book the best!

Then he helped me carve his pumpkin he picked out at the pumpkin patch. It did not turn out just like we wanted but that is okay!
Then on to Nana's to Trick or Treat....is that the cutest frog or what? Mia even came to visit from Orlando...
Then on to the Fall festival at the church. He got to see his cousins Michaela and Caedence all dressed up! He went down the BIG blow up slide with Aunt Sarah, which he loved! I think his favorite was the moon walk, he really loved bouncing around in it.
And then...

Believe it or not we still had time for one more spooky stop. We stopped by Aunt Buff's house for some very Yummy treats but when we got there Aunt Buff and Aunt Kat were gone! All that was there was a Creepy witch and a Scary spider queen! Alexander loved the witch but was not to sure about the spiders!
