Sweet Home Alabama

We are getting settled in our house in Alabama thanks to some amazing help from Jer's mom and dad and my mom and dad. Here is the living room, dinning room (Catch all room) and kitchen.

Alexander's room....I still have some fun touches to do in here.

Spare room.

Our room...Thanks Kristy and Zach for letting us use the rug.....I love it.....it is so the softest rug ever!

Everything is coming together just right....I am still looking for a job and know God will lead and guide me right to where He wants me. For this week I am enjoying my family being here and getting ready for the beach on Saturday!!!

Goodbye Kansas

We have been doing some big time packing over the last couple of weeks! Alexander had a tough time with his toys and things going into boxes, he could not quit get that we were taking them with us. He did have some fun helping, he dusted, he painted and he played.

In our last couple of days we enjoyed spending some time with friend. Here are some pics of me and my friends at work and Alexander with his little buddy Sammy.

We enjoyed one last trip to Joe's with our close friends before we left....it's our favorite.

Papi flew up to help Jer drive the truck with all our stuff and my mom come up to help me. We drove through the night, which is sooo the way to do it with a 3 year old. We pulled out from Kansas about 4 pm and we were driving in Alabama we were about 60 miles from our new house I lost control of the car and ran into a sign. We are all ok, God really took care of us. We are waiting to hear back about our car, if it is totalled or not.

New class

Friday was Alexander's last day in the yellow class, actually it was all of my yellow kiddos last day. So we had a big ice cream party for them!! I put together a slide show of all the memories from the year, it was great!!

Alexander moved up to the Green class and he loves it!!

His new teacher are Ms. Cynthia...

And Ms. Kathy.

He loves being in their class, and while I loved getting to spend time with Alexander it is so nice for him not to be in my class. I am sad to have to leave the most wonderful job in the world, but I know God has a great place for me in Opelika.

BIG NEWS

We made another visit to our favorite park Deanna Rose. This time Jeremy took Alexander fishing this time. He caught a "Green fish with black polka-dot" as Alexander says. He would not have anything to do with nor would he touch the worms.

As many of you know Alexander had his first visit to the ER last week. He was playing on the ottoman when fell off hitting his head on the bricks of the fireplace. He got 3 stitches, which he thinks is pretty cool cause he is 3! We did have to wrap him up in a sheet and hold him down. The first shot is before, the middle one is waiting on the gash to numb up and the last is after the stitches....notice how sweaty he is.....he fought us hard. It was an event I pray we do not have to relive anytime soon.

Mother's Day

Jeremy had to work Sunday morning so Alexander and I skipped church and went and got some guilt ridden donuts (500 calories). The painting is what we did with our kids at school, it was really cool that I got to paint it with him. For dinner Jeremy and Alexander took me out to one of my favorite restaurants Chapala. It was YUMMY!! Alexander did give me a very precious gift, he was sitting on my lap watching TV and he grabbed my arm and said "Mommy, I love you too much", I just melted!

The Big News is that we are moving to Opelika, Alabama. Jeremy got a job there and will be starting on June 14. So needless to say we will be VERY busy packing and moving.

One REALLY bad day!

Waiting to see the Doctor.

On Friday we took Alexander to be allergy tested. He was tested for 52 different things. Poor little guy!

He did have a pretty sweet set up, watching astro boy and eating gummies.

He had to have 4 shot test in his arm. It was a bad day! On top of all of this we had to have a head CT done to see his sinus'.

Though all of this we found that he is allergic to 5 different types of mold, dust, 2 types of grass, 12 types of trees, and weeds. We will not have the CT results back until tomorrow. So to help with this we are doing a nasal spray and meds only to treat symptoms. We are going to hold off on shots until he is older.
