Day 3 NYC

Today was a short day in the City, we went to china town to get some purses and other good stuff. As you can see it was pretty cold, thank God aunt Missy got Alexander that so cute puppy hat.
We took the boat back over to Jersey and had a beautiful view of New York City even if the picture is a little blurry.
Auntie Brenda has a pretty dog named Shelby and Alexander wanted to play with her so bad but she was not so fond of him.

Day 2 NYC

We took the train into the city, it was so cool! Alexander loved the train station and getting to see all the other trains pass through. It took us about 30 min on the train to get into the city and Alexander slept the whole way. He is such a good boy!

First we did a little shopping at Macy's and Lord and Taylor's. All the Christmas decorations were beautiful! Then we went to see a play, Alexander did very good he watched the first 45 mins of it and slept for the rest. I guess he thought he better catch some ZZZZZ while he can.
Here is Grandma and Alexander on their way to Juniors' (an amazing restaurant in NYC). The yellow building is the Empire State Building.
Alexander enjoyed so awesome Mac and Cheese at Juniors'. He had it everywhere including all over me! We had such a great first day in the city and I was very pleased with how Alexander did with the fast paced atmosphere of New York.

Day 1 NYC

When we arrived in New Jersey, Auntie Brenda took us to Van Suan Park.

How beautiful is this red tree.
Alexander really enjoyed playing in the leaves. He kept trying to eat them, but he found out they did not taste good.
All the colors are so amazing!
His favorite thing at the park was the slide. He could almost do it by himself because it was so little!

On the way to NYC

Look there is our plane!
Alexander did really good on the way there. I thought he would have gone to sleep since we had to be up at 5 am to get to the airport on time, but I guess he was not tired. He stayed up and played the whole way. It was very HOT on the plane so I stripped him down.
We had the best stewardess, her name was Melanie and Alexander loved her. She gave him his first set of wings for his first flight.

Our little boy is now 10 months...
He is doing all sorts of new stuff and looking bigger everyday! In fact just tonight I was putting lotion on him and noticed that he legs have little hairs on them. I could not believe it! His teeth seem to be almost all the way in and he loves to use them. I have tried to let him take bites of food and he thinks it is so funny! He is now doing the sign for "more" all the time, sometimes I am not sure what he wants more of.... He really loves to feed himself. He is pretty much eating what I eat but I do still feed him at least one fruit and one veggie baby food a day. He is such a flirt! Where ever we go he smiles and laughs at everyone that will look his way and with those big blue eyes his has their hearts!

Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Cypress Gardens. He got to ride on the train, the old cars and the carousel.
It was so much Fun!

Me and Granny made a trip to the Eagle Ridge mall in Lake Wales and of all the stuff in the play area Alexander loved the dump truck!
Go figure!

Happy First Halloween

Alexander had a huge first halloween celebration! When he woke up and Grandpa and Grandma has a bag of goodies for him....I think he loved the Elmo book the best!

Then he helped me carve his pumpkin he picked out at the pumpkin patch. It did not turn out just like we wanted but that is okay!
Then on to Nana's to Trick or Treat....is that the cutest frog or what? Mia even came to visit from Orlando...
Then on to the Fall festival at the church. He got to see his cousins Michaela and Caedence all dressed up! He went down the BIG blow up slide with Aunt Sarah, which he loved! I think his favorite was the moon walk, he really loved bouncing around in it.
And then...

Believe it or not we still had time for one more spooky stop. We stopped by Aunt Buff's house for some very Yummy treats but when we got there Aunt Buff and Aunt Kat were gone! All that was there was a Creepy witch and a Scary spider queen! Alexander loved the witch but was not to sure about the spiders!

Our little boy is growing so fast. Today I realized that Alexander has another tooth, so he is now up to 5 and it will soon be 6.

We just had his 9 month check up and he is 30 inches long and 21 lbs 13 oz. The doctor said that we could go ahead and start him on some meats and dairy. So this week he has got to try chicken, turkey and cheese, he is so loving it. She also said he is a bright little boy, but of course I knew that!

He took his first little step today. He was hold on to the bath tub and he turned around and took a step to me. I am pretty sure it will not be long and he will be running all over the place. He lets go and stands on his own a lot, which is so cool! He is getting very brave!

He loves cars! His grandma got him a xylophone and he pushes it around like it is a car. What can I say, he is ALL boy!

He is getting a lot more vocal. Today we went into a pet store and as soon as we walked in he said "Di di" for dixie, how cute is that? He also signed "more" for the first a couple of days ago. He does really use it a lot but his has done it a couple of time since.

Here are some pictures of Alexander in his new walker. We found it last weekend at a Garage Sale and got a GREAT deal on it. He loves it. The only problem is that he runs not walks in it.

Fall fun

Alexander loved helping Grandpa open his birthday present.

We went to the Auburdale park and the first place Alexander went was to the wheels on the train. He really loves wheels.

We also made a trip to the pumpkin patch, Alexander liked the pumpkins but was not so sure about the hay. We picked out a pumpkin for his first Halloween. I cannot wait to carve it for him....more pictures to come.

Alexander and I went to the zoo and played at the playground. He loves it there, they have a BIG slide, a cool spider web and a huge birds nest. It is loads of fun, we try to go as much as we can...in fact we go so much we might turn into to monkeys.

This was so funny, Jeremy was blowing off the back porch and he turned the blower on Alexander's belly. He thought it was so funny. He keeps us laughing all the time.

Look at Alexander's teeth!

I took these pictures after he ate a biter biscuit, what a mess they make...but he loves them. I love these pictures, they are the first ones that I have that you can see this teeth.

Alexander has learned a couple of new things this week. He has started dancing, it is so cute. He bobs his little body up and down and shakes his head no. It is the funniest thing. He loves door, he opens and closes them over and over. He loves to help with the dishes. He will pull out either the spoons or his bottle nipples and play with them while I unload it. Below you will see his favorite thing...the fridge. He love the bottles on the bottom shelve. The glass makes noise when he move them. Of course Jeremy think it is great that he plays with them.

9 months old

Mommy's Boy

Well we are officially parents of a 9 month old.

Alexander has grown so much in the last couple of months it is hard to keep track of all the new stuff he is doing. We had a doctors appointment today because Alexander has a cold. He is now 21 pounds 11 ounces and 30 inches long. Everyone that sees him cannot believe he is only 9 months old.

He loves to eat, I have been giving him Vanilla Wafers, Cheerios, and Gerber Puffs. He does really good at pacing himself. I was worried he would shove a bunch in his mouth but he eats them one at a time. He is still nursing, he nurses every 4 hours and eats 3 jars of baby food a day. One for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bananas are his favorite currently although I did give him some spaghetti the other night and he loved it. Spaghetti is my favorite!

He is everywhere. He is crawling and pulling up on everything. He is holding on and walking down the couch and other furniture. He loves wheels, he has a dump truck and that is all he plays with on it. He loves to look down when riding in his stroller to see the wheels spin.....I guess he is all boy.

He now has 4 teeth, and I thought he would never get any! They have come in enough that when he smiles I can see the ones on top and when he cries I can see the ones on the bottom.

He starting waving bye bye, but only when he wants to. He still says "Di di" for Dixie and now he says "Ibb" for Libby. It is so cute when he says it because he does it in a high pitch tone. Which is how I say their names. Jeremy taught him how to give high fives. Jeremy is so excited that he has taught Alexander a cool trick.

I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds for us...

Here is one of the gates we have had to put up for Alexander. No matter what side of them he is on, he wants on the other!
