It's a Boy

We are very excited that we are going to have another little boy!  Alexander is not only excited to be a big bother but he is excited to have a little brother!

Mother's day

Could he be any sweeter!  He had spent some of the afternoon playing in his room after about an hour he came out with this for me. I love this sweet boy! I cannot believe how blessed I am to be his mother!  I am thankful that in 5 short months I get to do it again and be the mother to another sweet little boy!

I felt so blessed to get to attend this trip with Alexander.  I think he really enjoyed me coming!

Happy Easter

 

12 weeks

 

Made it to the end of the first trimester.

We had a great 12 week check up, hearing the baby's heart beat was great!

The baby is the size of a lime now.


I have gained 10 pounds eek! 
I am craving peaches, yum!
I don't really have any feelings about what the baby is but I am excited to find out in about 4 weeks.
I am still feeling pretty wore out most day, working with 20 kiddos for 8 hours a day is WORK!
Being out of the first trimester I have started to enjoy coffee.

We have an appointment to find out what the baby is on May 29 (Yea, Mia).  But I have a good friend that does scans so we could find out as early as May 13:) Excited!

It was nice to have Papi home to celebrate Easter with us.

There is a little baby bump growing there!  Allot faster than with Alexander.....I was 10 weeks here.

 

8 weeks

We hit the 2 month mark today and I had my 8 week check up.  Doctor said everything looks great.  They did a sugar and iron test and they both came back great.

We are still feeling very overwhelmed and blessed in the Burgess' house.  Just amazed at God's blessing in our lives.

The baby is the size of a gooseberry (1/2 inch)

I have been defiantly having morning/ALL DAY sickness

I have also been very tried, I feel like I am letting everything around the house go..ugh!

I have not really had any cravings but I have had some aversions.  Smells, Lord help me!

The funny thing is I do not remember feeling this bad when I was pregnant with Alexander but I was talking my friend the other day and she said "Are you as sick as you were when you were pregnant with Alexander?" She told me she remembered staying with me and how bad I felt.  It is funny how you forget how it feels to be pregnant, I guess God helps you forget so you will do it again.


Tonight I was talking with Alexander about when the baby comes and how it will be too small for him to play with and I told him after his birthday day the baby would be old enough to laugh at him.  He said "I will take my sleeping buddy and pretend like it is getting the baby".  He said "It makes me cry to think about that mommy", wanna talk about the sweetest boy ever!

10 years

I am so bless to have called this man my husband for 10 years.  Even though we were apart this anniversary, we are blessed to get to spend everyday together.

 

 

WHAT!!

That's right we are PREGO! 

Since digital test were not around much when I got Pregnant with Alexander this is the first time I have ever saw this result on one!  This was a couple of Saturdays ago.  We didn't know at the time but I was only 3 week and 5 day, very early to find out!

Here is out healthy little peanut.  We went today to hear the heart beat and make sure everything looked good!  Of course it did!  God has amazed us with this great blessing.

In the middle of February we decided to go to the ART institute in Birmingham to see about doing fertility treatments again.  We were successful when we did this to get pregnant with Alexander so we knew this would work.  Our Appt was March 26 But God had other plans on February 23 we found out God had a miracle for us!

We are due October 28

I cannot believe we have lost a tooth.  A couple of weeks ago Alexander lost his first tooth. 

 

 

Yellow Belt Test

Alexander has been taking karate since November and in February he tested and earned his yellow belt!  So proud of this boy!

Karate has givin Alexander confidence and discipline.  He is picking up the moves faster and faster!  On Karate days he gets in the car excited about it!
