School Fun and Christmas Eve

Last week was a fun week at school. We had PJ day and a sock hop (dancing in our socks in the gym), it was great.

Christmas Eve we went to get Mia and Papi at the airport and went to get some yummy food.

While we were at the restaurant it started snowing. It was beautiful but it was coming down. It took us about 45 min to make our 25 min trip home.

When we got home we played a little in the snow and then came in to set out some cookies for Santa.

More Hliday Express

Here is his photo with Santa. I love his train pants from aunt Kristy.

Alexander also got to ride the holiday spirit, he loved it!

Then on top of all of this there was a HUGE model train display inside of the station. Alexander was in heaven!

Holiday Expess

We went today to see the Holiday Express at Union Station in Kansas City. It was amazing, this is Alexander with "Rudy" the engine of the Holiday Express.

Each one of the 3 cars we toured were all decorated like this, in one was Santa and the others had model trains. Which as you know Alexander loved!

Christmas Party

Alexander had his food and party in his class (purple) but on his birthday he is moving up to my class (yellow).

So after he got done eating in his class he came up to mine and made gram cracker ginger bread houses. He was really good and enjoyed being in yellow class.

After about 10 m & m's...

Then Friday night was his teacher Miss Liz's wedding. It was beautiful, he loved watching her come down the isle. She had a cool recessional, she had snow come down....very cool!

Christmas Fun

Mia sent Alexander a card and some fun gifts for him to open leading up to Christmas. I love this picture of him with his blanket and on the card Linus with his blue blanket.

Everywhere we go that there is snow on the ground Alexander has to walk through it. I love it because being a Floridian I want to do the same thing.

This was our first attempt to build a gingerbread house. I made the mistake of leaving the package in the reach of the puppies and I did not think they got into too much. So Alexander and I were going to make it, but I was wrong the dogs had eaten both sides of the house. He still loved doing it and we got another one that we are going to wait and do with Mia when her and Papi get here.

Christmas Fun

After we got home form Florida we went and picked out our Christmas tree. Alexander was not happy he had to wear his coat but it was really cold!

Alexander got his Christmas ornament for the tree...it is a hot wheels ones and it make a vroom sound then says "hot wheels, beat that." He loves to make it say it and then say it with it.

He had his first Christmas program, he did not really want to sing and do the motions but he did good. Sorry Mia he would not wear the vest we got for him because he did not want to wear 2 shirts. It could have also been because he decided to not take a nap...he was fun after that. After the program the school had Jesus' birthday party...it was FUN!

More snow!

We got about an inch and a half last night so we took Alexander out to play in it. He did not want to come in even though it was freezing!

After we went to Gaylord Palm's ICE.....it was so much fun.....Alexander had a couple of melt downs the first and worst was because he had to leave the trains.

On a Thursday night Jer and I went to eat and see wicked as a special Christmas gift....it was truly amazing.

Disney

Of course on Friday, Debbie, Kristy and I went SHOPPING! We went at 3:45am and shopped strong until 5:30pm.....we were tried!

Then on Saturday Jeremy had to go home to go to work. So I we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom. All the Christmas decorations were so beautiful!

Alexander was finally the 40 inches needed to ride Big Thunder Mountain. While he didn't cry he was a little scared and ready for it to be done by the end.

He drove his own Goodyear car, that was so much fun! He actually did pretty good he did not bump the rails too bad. At the end of the ride he did have a little road rage.....he would say "You guys kidding me, lets go!" I was rolling!

It was a really fun day for Alexander to get to spend with all his Granny, Pop, Grandma, Grandpa, uncles, aunts and cousins.
