Even thought it has not been that long since I blogged so much has happened! After the beach Alexander stayed Mia and she took him to see Nana and then to Grandma's so he got to spend with everyone. He stayed until I came down to pick him up last weekend. That was the longest I have ever been away from my little man. It was an enjoyable week for Jeremy and I we went to the movies and went on dates! It was fun but we missed our little man!

When I went down we had our family reunion and I got to visit with everyone.

We stopped by to see John and Sarah's dogs and one of the dogs had just been fixed and had to wear this cone....how funny is this picture?

This was Alexander on the plane ride home. He sat in his own seat with his seat belt on the WHOLE 2 and 1/2 hours and the last 30 mins fell asleep leaning on me.

While I was home I got to spend some time with my girlfriends.

On Thursday Jer and I decided it was potty training day! We are going to underwear and not going back. So I had to work on Thursday but Jeremy was home, I warned him that he might be cleaning up all day....well I was WRONG! Alexander told Jeremy every time he had to go. Can you believe it we are on day 3 and he has even got going in public down. I am so amazed that he was ready! We have had NO pee accidents at all. Did I mention I am amazed?

Birthday and Last Day at the Beach

On the night of the 9th Papi grilled steaks and lobster....mmmm! We celebrated my birthday with some really good cake from the bakery down the road. Since Jer and I do not get to see Kristy for her birthday we celebrated hers too. I must say the writing on the cake is a little sad....ha ha!

This was the last day at the beach, I took Alexander out on the boogie board to ride waves. I finally brought some monster trucks down to the beach for Alexander and it was a big hit. He rode them all through the sand and in the pool.

Little helper Evie was always trying to help Alexander with his fashion. They truly enjoyed each other this year. They played so well together, setting up trains, pushing monster truck and playing in the pool. On the day we took Alexander to Alabama he kept asking "Where's Evie, Beckett?" I am so glad they get to spend this time together to become close.

July 7, 8, and 9

On the 7th we were supposed to go out on the boat but it was nasty and rainy. So Jeremy and I drove to Enterprise, Alabama to see the aviation museum. We went and had some chili dogs at Cutt's. We also got to see one of our close friends Kim Cryer and meet her baby girl Caroline.

Alexander loved the helicopters.

Alexander and Evie Cuddled up with Mia for a story before bed.

On the 8th we went to the beach all morning, it was over cast and perfect. It was nice and cool and we enjoyed just hanging out with out worrying about the sun. That night we went to Schooners for dinner....it was so good!

On the 9th we went to Ship Wreck Island water park. We took Alexander down a couple of the BIG water slide which he LOVED. He giggled all the way down them. It was so much fun this year to be able to relax and let him run in the water.

After a nice long, much needed nap, we ordered in Sonny's BBQ....man it was good. I forgot how good their garlic bread was!

July 5th Beach Fun

On Sunday we got up and did the same thing, we went straight to the beach. It was beautiful! Alexander and Evie both enjoyed sitting and letting the waves hit them.

After the beach all morning and a long nap. The kids played in the pool on the patio, I am so happy Aunt Kristy thought to bring it for them.

Alexander and Evie enjoyed Popsicles and bath time together before we took family pictures on the beach. This became a nightly routine for them. They loved playing together in the tub.

Our family pictures turned out so great this year. I cannot wait to have them blown up!

After pictures we went to eat at Shuckums for some yummy seafood. While we waited for our food we took the kids to the dance floor. They had a blast!

Trip to Florida and the Fouth of July

On Friday the 3rd Jeremy, Alexander and I flew to Panama City Beach. This was Jeremy's first flight with Alexander and Alexander's first lay over. He was a dream. Our layover was in Dallas and we grabbed some McD's and found a great play area by our gate. We ate, played and boarded all in a matter of 45 mins. Alexander slept almost the whole leg from Dallas to Fort Walton. I took these pictures from first plane ride. I love the one with "Beach the Bear" in the seat belt with him.

On the morning of the 4th we got up and headed straight for the beach! It was perfect! Papi dug a hole and put a big plastic pool in it for the kids. It was the perfect set up. We spent the whole morning at the beach. Uncle Tony caught a Hermit Crab in the ocean and put it in the pool with the kids but Alexander did not want to have anything to do with it.

After a nice afternoon rest, we had some hot dogs and hamburgers...YUMMY! Then down to the beach for firework. Unfortunately Alexander was afraid of the fireworks so we had to come back early.
