Alexander loves his blanket. He now sucks on it all the time. I think it is like a binky for him, it calms him down. He sucks on it to go to sleep and we let him have it in the car. He will not make a peep for a long car ride with it. I do not know were we would be with out his turtle, he has had it in his crib since birth. It goes anywhere he is going to sleep. It plays music for about 15 mins so by the time it is done he is asleep. Jeremy showed him where the very small switch to turn it on it, so he can now turn it on.

I am trying to teach Alexander to use a spoon and fork to feed himself. So I gave him a bowl of spaghetti and a spoon the other night and this was the product. He did really good for the first couple of bites, then he started picking it up with his hands and putting it on the spoon. Then he just started shoving it in his mouth. There is no doubt that he love spaghetti.

Easter Pictures

We went to Gainesville back at the beginning of March and had Easter pictures done. I did not want to post them until I handed them out.

This one is my favorite, how precious...

This little outfit came from Mia, isn't it adorable. Alexander hunted eggs in it on Sunday and I am going to put him in it on Sunday for church at our church in Jacksonville.

What a Stud! This little suit came from Granny, what a blessed little boy.

We also had some done with Evie and Beckett. I love getting pictures done, the picture people do such a great job. It really is amazing that any of these pictures turned out well. Alexander was WILD to say the least in the sitting. It was not really his fault, he had not played all morning. I had to wake him at 8, feed him, and drive to Gainsville. So by the time we got there is was 10am and Alexander's feet had not touched the ground. So he was ready to run! Thank God we were at the mall and they had a great play area.

Easter Sunday

My beautiful family.....I am so proud!

We did my new nephew's, Caleb, dedication on Easter Sunday. What a beautiful family of 5 my brother has!

We had an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Michaela found the prize egg! Alexander actually picked up a couple of eggs and put them in his basket. Grandma put money in the eggs this year and Alexander got $10.25. Not bad for only being 14 months old.

Alexander shared his baby chicks with Michaela and Caedence. They loved them. How sweet is Aunt Buff to think of us.

Alexander had a wonderful second Easter, thank to everyone who help make it perfect. We love you!

Big Boo Boo

When we were getting ready to head down to grandma and grandpa's house. Alexander was at the front window watching Jeremy come home from work and turned around to see him come in the door. And ran into the end of the dinning room table. He hit his right eye. The picture above is from today, how said is that. His first black eye!

A daddy day...

We spent Easter Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Haines City.

On Saturday me and my mom went to meet Sarah in Lakeland to try on my bridesmaid dress for her wedding. They are so pretty, I cannot wait until November 22! So Alexander spent the morning with Jeremy. They went to the mall and played in the play area. Then Jeremy put him in the car and train. He loved it! What a fun day with daddy!

Aunt Buff got Alexander 4 baby chicks for Easter.

He loved the "birds" so much. He did squeeze them a little, but over all he did really good. We had the best time playing with the chicks, me, Buff and her mom laughs so hard. Alexander would look at the chick and so "oooooo", it was like he knew they where sweet.

What a Ham!

Aunt Buff also had this microphone at her house, Alexander would sing into it. Then he would laugh at himself.

How can MY son not like peeps?

I gave Alexander a peep on his highchair tray and he took a bite and spit it out. Who doesn't like a sugar covered marshmallow?

Easter Bunny

We went to see the Easter Bunny today. Alexander did great, he walked right up to him. I was not sure if he would be scared. He even check his mouth out and pointed to his nose and looked at me and said nose.

Isn't this just the sweetest sleep position? I went in to check on him and this is how he was, so cute.
He has been such a sleeper since the time change. He has been going to bed at 8pm and getting up at 9 and 9:30am.
The other day he took a nap and we heard him wake up. Then we did not hear him for a while. So we thought he went back to sleep but when I went in to check on him. I found him sitting up against his crib sucking on the corner of his blanky. His blanky is the ugly teddy bear blanket in the photo below. I went to walmart to get him a blanket that was larger, as all of his other blankets I had I could not wrap him in because they were too small. So I just got the cheapest fleece fabric they had. Oh well he loves it!

Jeremy and I had a great Anniversary. First we went and got pedicures, I had not had one since Mother's Day last year! It was wonderful. Then we went to the movies to see Bank Job, it was really good. We even splurged and got some popcorn!

Then to The Melting Pot. They have only been in Jacksonville for about 9 months, so we were excited to get to go there.

The food was amazing, we had cheese fondue. Then we had duck, steak, pork, chicken and shrimp in a garlic wine fondue. Then on to my favorite, we had banana's foster chocolate fondue. It was so good, we were stuffed!

We were seated in this little booth off all alone. It was great to have a nice quite dinner just the 2 of us.

Thank you so much to Grandma and Grandpa for coming up to stay with Alexander while we spent the day together. Grandma and Grandpa were even so brave to take Alexander to Chick-fil-a and let him play in the play area!

I love this little boy!

Growing to fast!

Alexander is truly growing way to fast. It seems like he learns something new everyday. I was just telling Jeremy he needs to stay home with Alexander one day to see how well he communicates. He knows right where the pantry is. He will get out his animal crackers and bring them to you. He just laughs when you open the container and give him one. It is almost like he is laughing because it worked. He will point to the kitchen and do the sign for "more". I try to get him to tell me "more what?" but he does not usually respond.

Bath time is one of our favorite times. If I go into the bathroom for anything he follows me in and tries to climb into the tub. Oh and climbing, man can he. He climbs on the couch so fast I cannot get to him before he is up on it. He knows he is not supposed to be on it (because he "Peter Pan's" off it) so when he gets on it he just looks at me and laughs. I cannot help but laugh, I know I am making it worse but he is so funny.

I am so impressed with his words, he is trying to say all kinds of new things. The newest is cookie, it comes out just as the "k" sound. Kinda like grinding gears on a stick shift. He has started to say thank you, just not when he is supposed to. He says it when he gives me something instead of when I give him something.

Going outside is still no question his favorite place to be. I can say "Do you want to going outside?" and him and the dogs will be waiting at the door. He knows before he goes outside he has to put his shoes on, so he will sits down and hand me his shoes. Getting dress is still pretty rough, he hates the changing table so much. Sometimes he cries when I lay him on it, you would think it was the worst thing ever. In fact I was going to teach him the sign for "change" but once he figured out what it was every time I would do it he would run. Now that is hating to be changed. The only thing I can do it play music, he loves it. It calms him down.

He is really into everything. I have always been able to give Alexander some toy and let him play in the bathroom while I got ready. Well at least up til' a couple of days ago. He loves to turn on the water in our bath tub, Jeremy does not like him to do it but it keeps him busy will I get ready. When I turned around to check on him, he had got some of Jeremy clothes and the entire box of Q-tips and threw them in the tub. Of course the water was running and everything was soaked. Little Booger!

Alexander is officially weaned, March 3 was the last time he nursed. The doctor told me that my milk supply would slowly go down and the he would not want to nurse anymore. Well she was right, I went to nurse him and he looked at me and said "no". I was hoping he would be that way and not be upset over it. In fact I think I had a harder time then he did.

Alexander's first RED SOX game.

We went to see the Boston Red Sox game in Vero Beach. It was Jeremy's Birthday present from Mia and Papi. We were supposed to sit on the grass because that is all we could find tickets for. But Jeremy and Papi went to the game early and got us tickets 13 rows back from the Red Sox dugout. It was Awesome the see the "REAL" Red Sox that close.

Alexander was great! He was supposed to take a nap on the 2 hour ride there but I guess he was too excited! He did not go to sleep until 4:30 on the way home.
He also fell on the sidewalk and bumped his head and nose. So we wanted to put a band aid and cream on it so we went to see the paramedics, there was no first aid. Can you believe the paramedics did not have any antibacterial cream? That is crazy!

Everyone loved Alexander's shirt, it said "Little Papi". How cute is that? So he matched his Papi for the game.
