1st time sledding

Well we got quite a little snow in Olathe today. It was 19 degrees with a wind chill of 5 and we got 3 to 2 inches of snow. So we decided to go sledding.

Oh and I had never been sledding! It was a BLAST! I loved it and so did Alexander.

Daddy and Alexander on there way back up to do it again!

What a mess!!!

On the left is the reason they make WASHABLE markers!

On the right Alexander is licking the icing off the top of an orange roll.

He is ALL boy and I love it!

Update!
I wanted to give you an update on my asthma. You would not believe the difference. I am SOOOOO much better. I hardly even have symptoms anymore. The medication the doctor put me on is Advair, it is a powder that I inhale. I have to take it morning and night. When I first started taking it I could hardly take a deep enough breathe to take it. Now I have no problem. I also got my blood work back from the doctor and it was negative for any allergies. That is all good news! Thank God!

2 year pictures

We finally made it to The Picture People to take Alexander's 2 year pictures.

Right after the first couple of pictures Alexander fell and bumped his lip and this was pretty much how he was the rest of the photo shoot.

I love this boy!

Kasas CIty Zoo

The weather here in Kansas this week has been much like that in Florida, well maybe not that warm. But it got up to 65 on one day so we made a trip to the Kansas City Zoo.

It was great. In the Australia section all the Kangaroos ran loose it was amazing! Alexander feed the sheep and the deer and went down about 10 different slide 100 times!

We even got to ride the carousel.

It was a great family day. They were running a GREAT special to join until next March so we did it. I cannot wait til the spring when the weather will be nice and we can come back all the time.

All Better...well almost.

As many of you know for the last 4 weeks or so I have been have some serve shortness of breath with a nasty dry cough. It had got so bad I could not even go up or down the stairs with out sitting for a breather. It makes getting my normal everyday stuff very hard to get done. This same shortness of breath is what landed me in the ER the beginning of February and they thought it was bronchitis. Since it has continued so long I decided to go ahead and go into my Doctor. She did a chest x-ray and said there was nothing on my lungs. So she did some listening to my lungs and some breathing tests and concluded that I have moderate asthma. They drew some blood and are going to run some test to see what is causing it. They feel that it is something in the mid west since I had no problems in Florida. In the mean time she put me on 2 different inhalers. One is a medication to make it better in the long run, I have to take it 2 time a day, the other is a rescue inhaler to help only when I have symptoms. When the blood test is back I will let you all know what the out come is.

Ka-Chow, Sea World, Choo Choo and V-Day

Alexander is changing so much everyday. After his hair cut is appears that his hair is going to be curly or at least that is how it is growing in. He is such a copy cat, everything that we say he says. Right now my favorite thing he says is "Ka-chow" that is what lighting McQueen says. Alexander says it all the time, pretty much at random.

Here are a few more pictures from our day a Sea World.

We took Alexander to this amazing burger place in Kansas City called Fritz's. It is a restaurant that has a choo choo track going all the was around the ceiling. In fact the awesome trains purpose is to carry food to the table. As you can see from the pictures Alexander loved the restaurant. In fact we had to bring his food with us to eat in the car.

Jeremy and I were able to go out for Valentine's Day to a wonder "Southern" restaurant right here in Kansas. It was awesome.

I have to share this story, it is moments like this that make being a mom so great. The mat that is above is down stairs in our basement and unfortunately so is my washer and dryer. I was doing some laundry and when I do I have to bring Alexander down stairs with me to play in the basement. Which his love to do. Anyways I was folding clothes and I hear Alexander saying "coo, coo" he keeps saying it over and over and it took me a couple of minutes to figure out what he was saying. He was saying Clue as in Blues Clues. I loved it! How cute is that, he saw the paw prints.

Beckett's Birthday and Sea World

It worked out that while we were down visiting Kristy and Zach had Beckett's 1st Birthday. We were so glad we were able to go. It was a little crazy looking through the pics to see how much Beckett and Alexander look similar. No doubt Evie, Alexander and Beckett are cousins.

Fun Bath time in Mia BIG bath tub. They played in the tub for like 45 mins.

We were even able to go to sea world. Alexander was all about Shamu, in fact he has a shamu that is plastic. Last night he was in the tub saying "shamu, shamu" making him jump and splash in the water. We had left overs from Beckett's party so we brought them to the show. Hot Dogs and Capi suns....it was perfect.

We also got to go to Chuck E Cheese (Alexander favorite place) with Uncle Michael, Aunt Mel, Lala (Michaela), Caedence and Caleb but I forget my camera. They had a blast playing together.

I forgot my camera because Alexander had ran a fever through the night the night before so I took him in to the Doctor and he has the flu. He ran a fever through the next 2 nights getting as high as 103.8 but is much better now. It does appear that Jeremy and I now have this lovely virus. We are very happy to be home and back together. Alexander and I missed Jeremy very much but did enjoy seeing all our family and friends.

More Florida

I really enjoyed getting to spend time with my mom and dad. I am used to seeing them a couple of times a month. So it was really nice to see them again.
On Saturday we went to Disney and Alexander got to ride in the front of the monorail and even got to drive it! He loved it, it was a choo choo to him!

You can imagine how much Alexander would love the good year car....and you are right he loved them.

We went on buzz lightyear and you have to aim and shoot bulls eyes. Can you believe he scored 2200 points.

Alexander was not so sure about Uncle John, I love the way he is looking at him in this picture.

I think Alexander's favorite ride was the web way people mover, it is a tram that takes you all around tomorrow land. Alexander thought he was on the best choo choo ever!

Alexander loved playing with Aunt Sarah...he thought she was so funny.

We went into the Country Bears and Alexander was out!

He woke up for one last shot in front of the castle.

In Florida

Wanted to let all of you know we are in Florida. We made it in safe and sound Wednesday night, Alexander was great on the plane. Below is a pic of him playing with his train in the plane.

We celebrated my grandfather's 75th birthday, Alexander loved the cake.

Here is just a little of the fun day with John and Sarah at Disney on Saturday. Alexander kept checking John out, he was not so sure about him.

There are many many more pics to come.

More updates

Ok so here I am up at 4am and I have not idea why! I actually do not feel bad I guess I am just not tried or I have alot on my mind. Anyways for the last 2 days I have not felt very well and have had some shortness of breath. So after a consult from my favorite nurse we deiced I should go to the ER just in case it was something serious. A nose swab, a nurse, a doctor, a breathing treatment and 3 hours later they say I have Bronchitis with wheezing. So I have some antibiotics, an inhaler, and some cough syrup with codeine and should be feel better tomorrow, just in time for my flight. I feel better to know what is wrong, I was thinking it might just be anxiety but now I am glad I got it checked out. Thank you all so much for your prayers and calls! Love you all!
