Our little man will be 6 months on the 4th of July. I cannot believe it has been half a year. He is such a joy, Jeremy and I talk about how blessed we are to have each other and him. God is GREAT!
He is still nursing, and I do not see it ending anytime soon. He also loves his solid foods! We have not tried anything that he will not eat. He loves peas, carrots, squash, prunes and every other kind of baby food you can think of. We have not tried any of the meats yet. He is not quite old enough. He always eats in his highchair. He likes to be in it. I can let him sit in it and play even when he is not eating.
We still get in his pool nearly everyday. He loves to splash in it and I love it cause it makes him take a great nap. He pretty much loves to do anything outside.
Still no "mama" he must be saving it for a special day. He says "dada" all the time and when I do something he does not like he will say "n-n-n-n-n-n".
Below is a special picture, I took it because that outfit was Jeremy's. I think Alexander looks so good in it.

What a BIG BOY. Alexander is now 20 pounds and has almost out grown his car seat so it was time to upgrade. Thanks to his Pop and Granny Alexander now has a big boy car seat! He loves it. It is so much easier to buckle him in and he like sitting up higher in the car so he can see.

I think Alexander has offically learned what the camera is or at least discovered that when it is out all eyes are on him. During most of these shots he was playing with a toy bug but as soon as I would snap the picture he would look at me and make a face. He is so funny!

Here is Alexander enjoying the rocker we got from his Nana! We love that rocker, I do not know what I would do with out it. Alexander is sitting up really well now. We set him on the floor in his floor nanny, another thing I could not live with out. And he will play for a while before he falls over. I think he really enjoys this new found freedom he has!

Alexander is learning all kinds of new things. The newest started today. Alexander is saying "dada". He loves to say it.
He is eating all kinds of baby food. He love peaches, bananas and sweet potatos. He tried green beans for the first time today and LOVED them. He is such a good eater. The only food he does not care for is pears. I think it is the texture of it, as you know they are very gritty.

This weekend was Alexander's first trip out of state. We went to Alabama for Jeremy's 10 year high school reunion. It was a blast to meet all the people Jeremy knew so long ago. We enjoyed getting to visit with our family friends.

Jeremy's first Father's day. We went to Jeremy's old church in Enterprise, Alabama. Alexander wore Jeremy shoes from when he was a baby.

We had some yummy breakfast and then went to Larry's for lunch!

Alexander got to meet Mrs. Karen. Mrs. Karen was Jeremy's 2nd grade teacher and a family friend of the Burgess'. He loved walking all around her beautiful garden and feeling her wiregrass between his toes.

Alexander had his first non-family member sitter, eventhough the Dow's are like family! They reported that he was an angel. I was surprised that I was not nervous to leave him, and why shoud I be, he was in good hands!

Alexander has discovered that he has something else to chew on. His feet! And yes he is sitting up. Sometimes he falls over but he has pretty much achieved the sit up position.

Alexander has really been enjoying the pool in the back yard. His grandma got him a turtle float, it is perfect. He can reach the bottom of the pool and he pushes himself all around. He loves it. He plays in it almost everyday.

Me and MY lil man!

This is a special swimsuit. It was Jeremy's when he was a baby! How cool is that!

I had to take this shot!

Loving every moment

I love this picture. They were all three looking at Jeremy. I guess I am lucky I got them all to lay together. Alexander is getting so big. He is making more noises now that sound like letters. He is grabbing everything in site. He smiles and laughs all the time. His little personality is shining more than ever. I love every moment I get to spend with him.

JAMBA JUICE! We now have one in Jacksonville. When me and Jeremy went to NYC Auntie Brenda took us there. So we went, it seems that Alexander loves it as much as we do.

One of Alexander's new favorite things is Dixie. He thinks it is so funny when Dixie plays tug of war.
