My First Wagon

Alexander got his first wagon from his Pop. He loves it, we took it to the park in our neighborhood. When I stopped to take the picture he started to rock his body back and forth so I would "GO"!

We went to the Jacksonville zoo again this week. We recreated some photos...the ones on the left were from Alexander's first trip to the zoo, he was 3 weeks old.

The last time in the water play area this year.

The water park closes on September 30 so Alexander got to play in it for a while. The dolphin is his favorite, he loves the spout for the blow hole!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa came to see us in Jacksonville this weekend. We went to eat at out favorite little restaurant The Schnitzel House. It was so good, Alexander was happy with his plate and menu. He was also very happy when Grandma ordered the fried apples with ice cream

Reading with Grandma.

Grandma bought Alexander some new books, he enjoyed having his bedtime story with her.

High Chair

What would we do without our high chair? Alexander is a great eater and does really well in his high chair. I can put him in it with a Zweiback toast and make dinner any night. It is great and as you can see he does not mind being in it at all!

One confused little boy.

With Jeremy being a Noles fan and me a Gators fan it is a battle on Saturday mornings to see who is going to dress him. I do have to say that orange and blue look really good on him!

Loving to feed himself.

Alexander has mastered the art of putting "puffs" and "Cheerios" in his mouth. He loves them, sometimes he will not eat his baby food and will hold out for them.

Another tooth.

Alexander cut his 2nd tooth. It is his top right, so now he has his bottom right and top right. I thought he would cut the other bottom one first but I guess not. So to ease the pain we had a little ice cream. YUMMY!

Water play at the Zoo

I am so thankful for our zoo passes! We love to go, it is so much fun. They have a HUGE water play area with all kinds a sea animals. Alexander's favorite is the dolphin, he kept sticking his hand in the water spout on top. When he does, it sprays water in his face. He think it was so funny. We are so excited Alexander's friend Jacob got a pass to the zoo too, so now we can go together!

Fun around the house!

Bath time is so much fun. Alexander is really into all of his toys in the bath and cannot sit still. I believe he would stay in there for hours if I would let him.

This was too funny. I was outside and Alexander was inside. He keep licking the glass and pressing his face against it.

Here is Alexander in his outfit from India. His Uncle Bub and Aunt Mel went the day after he was born to India and they brought it back for him.

I had to share this picture of my "rebel".

We have lift off

Alexander cut his first tooth!

I thought it would never happen. It looks like he is going to cut the top 2 and the other bottom one in the next week. It has been a rough process, he has been getting up twice a night, this is sooooo not like him. Alexander has slept 11-12 hours a night since he was 3 months old. But I just nurse him and put him back to bed, he does not really fuss. I do not really think he is hungry, I think he just wants to rub his gum on something. Hopefully it will not be too many more days and he will be done. Of course I am just excited that he has a TOOTH!

We have started to give him some solid foods. He eats veggie puffs and loves them! We went to Sonny's today and he got to have his first taste of REAL mac and cheese, and he loved it. I knew he would he loves the baby food mac and cheese. We also gave him a Zwieback Toast last night, he was such a mess but he ate the whole thing!

He is still crawling everywhere, he is keeping me on my toes.

I love being able to spend all this time with him.

I wanted to ask all of you to keep us in your prayers, we have received an offer on our house and want to do God's will. So when you think of us just say a quick prayer. We love you all!

8 months old

It is hard to believe my baby is 8 months old. He is crawling so fast and pulling up on everything. He got his first real boo boo yesterday. We have not really been home since he started crawling so we have not completely baby proofed yet. Alexander crawled over to the bar stool and pulled up on it. Jer and I were both right there when he went to fall straight back. As he feel he held on to the bar stool, pulling it down on himself. The seat of the stool landed on his little nose. He cried harder than I have ever heard him. It was so sad. His nose looks pretty good considering what happened. It has a little scratch and is a little bruised...I guess we are not getting pictures done this week.

He is such a sponge...clapping is his new thing. He started about a week ago, when ever anyone says YEAH he claps. It is sooooo cute. He will also clap if he is sang to. Tonight we were watching a game show and when the audience clapped, I looked down and he was clapping, it was so funny.

Family reunion

We went to St Pete Beach for the Causey family reunion. It was so much fun. Alexander got to meet everyone, and of course he was showing off all his sweetness. I think he really took to our cousin Haley, it was her first time at the reunion too.

There is no doubt that the pool was Alexander's favorite part. We spent a lot of time swimming and splashing in the water. He loved watching his cousin Michaela play in the pool, she is a fast swimmer.

Alexander had such a great time at the hotel. He crawled all over the place. He loved being under the table, he would hold on and walk from the table to the chair and down the bed. I was amazed to watch him go.

Alexander has had a HUGE week. He is officially crawling, he started on Wednesday August 22. Then on Friday he pulled up in his crib. He has been pulling up on the table and couch but I guess he was waiting to do it in the crib. We spent the weekend at Mia and Papi's house, so Alexander was busy showing then all his tricks. Here are a few pictures from our adventures in the pool!

Is that Papi in Evie's turtle?

Bath time in Mia's Landry tub. It is just the right size for the little man. Of course he did not want to sit still. He loved his Police Duck from Papi.

SEA WORLD
Last year for Christmas Mia and Papi got me and Jeremy passes to sea world...it is out favorite. We activated them on Sunday so we will get to use them almost all of Alexander first year. We had a great time. We saw the shamu show and the shamu rocks show. He was giving out during the shamu rocks show.

We stopped by to visit Nana and Papa Tom. Alexander thought they were very funny.
