Royal Game

It is now officially warm in Kansas, so we have started playing in the water. I found Alexander a "Cars" Slip and Slide and he loves it!

Last Monday Jeremy and I went the Royals games. It was a blast!

Our neighbors have a BIG trampoline and Alexander is all about it. Every time he goes outside he wants to "bounce".

Mia's Visit

We had a great time with Mia this last week. These pictures were taken on Sunday before church.

We celebrated Mia's Birthday while she was here.

Alexander enjoyed having Mia here. He did so many fun things with her! She took him to the park, Chuck E Cheese, Chick Fil A and so many other fun things!

Alexander loved doing puzzle and reading stories with Mia every night! We miss her already!

Fun around the house and update on EVERYTHING!

Our new favorite breakfast is yogurt in an ice cream cone with sprinkles. He will eat the whole thing!

Playing outside in the nice spring weather of 70's! He loves his play structure, one of the best finds ever!

Since the weather has been so wonderful we decided to have a Chick-fil-a picnic outside. That face gets him almost anything he want, the little stinker!

Update

Jeremy has passed all of his simulation test for this year...PRAISE GOD! There is no question when we look over the last year that we are where God wants us. For us there was no doubt that God would bring us through the last few weeks of stress and testing.

Furthermore knowing how much God has had his hand on us, I took a closer look at the last 3 1/2 months at my job and can see God all over it. Having not worked for the last 2 years I was a little nervous going back and what it would do to Alexander and how my duties at the house would suffer. So we decided that working 3:30-6:00 would be the best opinion since Jeremy is home by that time most afternoons. Then Jeremy's shift changed and Alexander started coming with me. I saw how unsocialized he was and thought it was probably time for him to start school. I asked the director if they had any full time slots available and about a week later she said they had a 9-6 slot in the 1 year old room. I thought it would be perfect. I later thought a 7-3:30 slot would be the best that way Jer and I would get home at the same time and could go to the gym and spend time together in the evening. With the 9-6, I was getting up at 7:15, getting ready, getting Alexander ready, going to work, coming home, cooking dinner, baths, then bed, not extra time. Last week my boss came in and said I need you in the 5 year old room and I will give you 7-3:30. Amazing the favor of God on our family.

Alexander is adjusting well even though he has to get up at 6:30am. Living 3 mins from the school (I timed myself walking it this morning) is nice we do not leave until 6:55! A couple of weeks ago Fifths disease was going around the school. On Saturday Alexander woke up with a rash on his face and then spread to his stomach, arms, then legs so I took him in to the Dr. and sure enough its fifths. Nothing serious he will be fine, he actually had no other symptoms other than the rash and it is almost gone.

Mother's Day

We got up Saturday morning and went to the Kansas City Zoo. We had so much fun!

Alexander got to pet the llama.

Of all the animals we saw all day there was no question that the Hipo was his favorite!

On Sunday we hung around the house because I woke up with a stomach bug that had been going around the school...what fun!

This sucks!

Alexander got bit today at school. He took a toy from another child and the child bit him. I was told that he got bit earlier in the day but was not to worried about it. But when I saw it, I felt a little different about it. This child is a known bitter and has been doing it for a while. If it continues I unfortunately will have to quit the school and find another job. We cannot have Alexander going to school and getting bit everyday.....If that were to happen I have a feeling we would have some people coming up from Florida. In fact I text a picture to my brother John and he told me to beat the child in the face....cracks me up!

Alexander is doing so good, I think he misses me and Jeremy while he is at school but he really loves his teachers. He is so funny coping EVERYTHING we say. The other day Jeremy said "whatever" to me and Alexander said "whatever" to him. We were rolling! Alexander has also been the joke at school this last week. The cook brought lunch into Alexander's room and Alexander dropped his fork and said "fork". But the way he says "fork" it sounds more like f*** and everyone has been joking about it.

He pretty much says anything and everything and fully understands what it means. Our neighbor taught him to "pound it" (bump fist) and he does it all the time. He is such a blast.

At work they are working on changing my hours, hopefully to 7-3:30 but maybe to 8-5. Either one would be nice, it would be great to go to the gym everyday with Jer.

We thank all of you for your continued prayers for Jeremy. He has a couple more graded problems next week. They are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday he thinks. We know that God has brought us here and that we are doing what He has planned for us. We know that He is faithful to bring us to VICTORY!

Saturday Fun

We have been enjoying the nice weather here for the last couple of weekends. We have visited MANY garage sales because here the neighborhood garage sale takes on a new meaning. I would guess that there were 6 neighbors having them close to us today.

We have also been getting loads of rain so we washed all of the back yard toys. Alexander thought this was great.

We had some fun blowing bubbles and having Popsicles....YUMMY!

Jeremy read Alexander a story and I came up to say good night and had to snap this shot. So cute!
