Fun with Mia

We are so happy to have Mia here visiting, we have been doing all kinds of fun fall things. Yesterday we went to our favorite park Denna Rose....except it was really really cold!

Are these leaves not so beautiful!?!

After our cold adventure we came home and warmed up by the fire.

This was the hit of the festival for us. It was a pit stop with a real air ratchet. He got to take the tire off and put it back on.

Back Yard Fun

All I can say is Go Gators!

I love this picture of Sam and Alexander laying on the couch, they are watching Bee Movie.

I racked a big pile of leaves in the back yard for Alexander to play in, I did not think he would like it so much.

This, however, is our favorite thing to do in the back yard. He loves to bounce on the trampoline, we go out and jump every that the weather is nice. Alexander's hair sticks straight up cause of the static electricity.

Alexander cracks me up everyday.

On Wednesday we were on our way to school, waiting at the red light. Alexander yells from the back seat, "Come on guys, are you kidding me, lets go." I rolled, Jeremy says that all the time.

On Friday Jer and I went on a date and when we got home the puppies had some how got the box of popcorn. It was all over the living room. Alexander came in and said "Oh no puppies" then he ran over to them and yelled "Puppies, I will knock you out." I love it, so funny!

He was looking at one of Jer and I's wedding pictures and said "Awww Mommy is a princess." I just melted.

I love all this new little cute things he is saying. The biggest problem we are currently having with Alexander is hitting, pinching and pushing. We are tiring to be patient and I am hoping this phase will not last much longer.

Fall Family Fun

It has been nice and cold not getting much above 50 for a couple of weeks here. So the other night Jer started a fire for us, it was nice.

We made some yummy rice krispy treats with Alexander. He loved making them.

He loved eating the cereal even more, you would have thought he would have wanted the marshmallows.

Alexander got a couple of packages this week, one was from Papi. He sent Alexander this Army shirt, which he loves!

Grandma sent Alexander the other one. Alexander loves to get packages and mail!

Alexander tried on my snow boots.

Jumping on the trampoline with our neighbors Sam and Courtney.

This little cutie is Brileigh and she is in my class at preschool. But her and Alexander get along very good. It was Brileigh's parents anniversary so I told them to drop her by so they could go to dinner. Alexander was soooo excited, he dance for the first 30 minutes that she was there. Then for the remanding time he showed her everything he owned. It was so fun for him to have a little school friend over.

On our way home today Alexander and I saw a hot air balloon but to our surprise it was right over our house when we got home.

It even landed in the field right next to the house.

Monster Jam

update

This is at the pumpkin patch on the hayride. It looks like Alexander is praying. I loved it!

Update: I am feeling much better, still having alot of difficulty breathing. I went back to the Dr yesterday and have bronchitis, I am now on a Z pack and should be back to chasing 3 year old at work by Monday. Jeremy had some mild symptoms on Tuesday and went to the Dr and tested Negative for H1N1 but had Bronchitis. Then yesterday Alexander woke up with a low grade fever and we had him tested and he was negative for H1N1 as well...Praise God! Not sure what he has but he is still running a low grade temp and has a mild cough.

With all this going on last week Me, Jer and Alexander have been home together since Tuesday. It has been nice to get to see my hubby and kiddo more than a couple of hours in a day. Jeremy has been SO helpful, I could not have made it this week with out him. God has truly blessed me with an amazing hubby!

Alexander has kept us entertained for the most part. He has hosted countless monster jams and has carried all kinds of stuff on his trains. It is a wonderful thing to watch him grow and learn. The other day we were sitting outside and he started counting rocks in Spanish...he did not get very high but I was proud. Today I blew my nose and looked at me and said "Oh, xcuse me mommy." Everyday with a 2 1/2 year is an adventure.

Thank you all for your prayers, we are continuing to get better with the help and strength God gives us.

More Pumpkin Patch and the Cider Mill

The pumpkin patch we went was at the Louisburg Cider Mill.

Here they are washing the apples, getting them ready to make cider.

I know this is an awful of me with my eyes closed, But I wanted to share these fresh hot apple donuts. We also had hot apple cider and an apple slushy. It was so good.

Couple pieces of news to share, my brother Michael and his wife Melody welcomed their little boy Matthew Alan Cai Causey, 7lb 12 oz and 20 inches. Born at 7:10pm yesterday. Mommy and Baby are doing great!

Yesterday I was feeling a little under the weather and went into the doctor and found out I have H1N1. I would love for all of you to keep our house hold in your prayers. I had a really bad night last night and a rough morning. The doctor seemed most concerned about my asthma. I am feeling much better this afternoon and evening, PRAISE GOD! I would like for all of you to pray that Jeremy and Alexander will both remain healthy.

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went with Aunt Buff to the Pumpkin patch. It was the first REAL pumpkin patch I had ever been too.

Alexander loved the Hay Bail Maze, it was just his size and I could stand on top of the bails to make sure he did not get lost. As you can see we are in coat. I do not think it got out of the 50's on this particular day. It has been running in the mid to lower 60's which is so beautiful. However this weekend we are going to have a couple of days in the 30's and 40's brrrr!

We went on a great hay ride all around the pumpkin patch. It was beautiful!
