Andy

I wanted to share the Andy Doll that Aunt Kat made for Alexander. Aunt Kat is Buff's mom and she is an amazing artist. She hand embroider his face, I love that she made him have blue eyes just like Alexander. Thank you so much, Kat! We miss you!

Spring Snow

On Saturday we had a ice, sleet, snow storm, in fact it was the worst storm we have had since we have been here.

This was the start of it, ice! Well rain that turned into ice. You can see our front storm door is just a sheet of ice.

Then came the snow, it was the largest snow flakes I have ever seen, BEAUTIFUL! It was a winter wonder land, only in SPRING!

The next morning we measured the snow on our patio and it 5 inches, the news said that they got 7 inches about a 1/4 mile for our house. Alexander wanted to come out and see the snow, he loves it! But he did not put on gloves and he hates how cold the snow is on his bare hands. The top left tree is one of my favorite popcorn trees.

On Sunday we did adventure out as the snow was melting FAST....it was 65 and sunny all day. Actually it was all melted by today.

You will notice in ALL of the picture Alexander has on his Thomas rain boots that Aunt Kit Kat got for him.

He loves them!

Alexander's classroom

Alexander is in the Meadowlark's classroom and now so am I. It was not really planned that way but for a while he was not coming with me and that is the classroom that I worked in. Now with Jeremy in class everyday until 3:30 he comes with me for a couple of hours. I am considering taking a full time position in the one year old room. I think Alexander would truly benefit from being in school, and I think I am ready to do more! I will keep you all updated as to what I decide. I thank you all for praying that I will make that right decision and that Jeremy and Alexander adjust well.

Park Day

Sunday we had a wonderful park day. It was a beautiful day, Alexander loved the kites.

The popcorn tree...well not really it is a pear blossom tree or something like that. They are ALL over Kansas and are beautiful, I just thought I would share a little of our spring!

Spring is in the air!

Finally we are getting a taste of spring! I have been keeping the windows open during the day because the weather is so beautiful and the other day I heard birds chirping for the first!

Here is Alexander on his rocking horse that her can make bonce so fast that it moves across the floor.

In this pic he is watching TV and you can see how much he gets into it! His favorite is Wow Wow Wubbzy right now but he also likes Go Diego Go, Wonder Pets and Dora. Everyday just gets more exciting with him, he is so smart. Tonight at dinner he looked at me and Jeremy and held up a fry and said "oooo big ole fry" we laughed so hard. He also loves to watch monster trucks on TV I love to hear him say all the names of the different trucks.

CHEESE!

This is at Bass Pro Shop, Alexander loves to go there and see all the boats and four wheelers.

Dinner at the Elephant Bar

Jeremy and I had a wonderful dinner at the Elephant Bar. It was a great place to eat and enjoy each other. We sat outside on the patio as it was really nice outside! There was only one other couple out there and left soon after we arrived, so we pretty much had dinner just us. Alexander stayed with our neighbors Sarah and Darren, he loves their kids Sam and Courtney. It was a perfect evening with my love!

While I was down we went to see NKOTB again for Elizabeth birthday it was a BLAST!

Alexander has such a great daddy to watch him and take good care of him while I was gone! I love to see them play together and see how much Alexander loves him!

Snow Play

This was our view outside when we woke up the other morning. Is it not so beautiful! You know it almost looks like white beach sand.....but it doesn't feel like it.

Even though this is not the best picture of Alexander I love his little outfit and wanted to share what a big boy he looks like in it.

This was a couple of days after the snow. You can see allot of the snow had melted but there was enough left to make a snow man.

....and to make snow balls. Alexander actually ate allot of the snow this time outside. I have not really seen him eat it so I was surprised.

It has been a while since I have really updated this on all that is going on with Alexander. Right now he is wearing 3T tops and in 2T bottoms and size 7 -8 shoes. He is in size 5 diapers and hopefully will be out of those soon. He really has no interest in the potty, when I ask him to go potty he almost has a melt down and shout no while running away. I guess we will get there one day. He is all about letters, numbers and colors which I love. He loves to draw, paint and color. Pictures of our first painting adventure to come. At school he is learning and saying allot of the kids names. He is now in my class with me and I enjoy watching him with the other children. He watches and learns from them, it is amazing! I love watching him grow and learn everyday, what an amazing little boy I have!

Too Funny Not to Share....

Sorry if this is to much information for you but I have to share this story.

Last night we went to the mall to shop around and let Alexander play in the play place. While we were shopping I gave Alexander a toy tractor to play with. On this tractor he has figured out how to pull the wheels off and then he wants me to put them back on....it's a fun game we play....not! Anyways he was doing this last night but after a while he stopped asking me to put it back on. When we got to the car I notice that it was missing and thought he must have lost it in the store.

I just laid him down for his nap and he had a stinky so I changed him before I laid him down.....anyone want to guess what I found in his diaper? That's right, the tractor wheel. I started laughing so hard it made Alexander laugh. I guess he swallowed it last and didn't lose it in the store. Life with a two year old is never boring!

Alexander's New Room

We redid Alexander room in Disney Car and wanted everyone to see.
