First photo Shoot

Alexander had his first photo shoot on the 29th. He did so good, even thought I changed his outfit 3 times.

This is our first family photo.

This is Alexander's dedication outfit that his Grandma got him. It has a hat and shoes that his Mia got him but he was not happy when the hat was on his head.

This is one of my favorites, Alexander loves his hands. His daddy always ask what it taste like.

Jeremy went back to work last Wednesday and we all did fine. Alexander is such a good baby we just played and took a nap. I think daddy missed him a little more than he thought he would. So I sent him several pictures on his phone through out the day. I am really enjoying being able to stay at home with Alexander, I get to play all day. Sometimes daddy comes home and wonders why nothing has been done. Look at Alexander how could you not play, love and hold him all day.

Alexander also had his first road trip on Saturday, we went to Gainesville to visit his cousin Evie. While we were there we went to the Picture People and had some photos of them taken. They turned out so good. Alexander then had his first trip to Starbucks (I am really surprised it took this long for it). I cannot believe how much he has grown, he is now starting to fit into his 0-3 months clothes. He has also discovered his vocal cord, he is starting to make noises that are not crying noises.

Jeremy had a great birthday today, Alexander had a doctor's appointment this morning. The doctor said he is "doing great" he is now 9 pounds and 21 1/2 inches. Mia and Papi came up for Jeremy's birthday this weekend and we had a blast. Alexander got to make his first trip to Papi's and Grandpa's favorite restaurant Sonny's Bar-B-Que. He woke up half way through lunch, I think he could smell the food. After all he would know Sonny's food very well as I ate there all the time when he was in my belly.

Daddy also got to feed Alexander for the first time this weekend. Alexander took the bottle well and went right to sleep when he finished.

Alexander's first zoo trip

Alexander is growing like crazy! He has gained almost a pound since birth and is getting to long for his "newborn" clothes. Although the 0-3 clothes are still a little big on my "little man". I cannot believe how fast the last 2 weeks have gone, he has already changed so much. There is no doubt that he looks like his daddy. In fact some time I look at Jeremy and can see some of Alexander's expressions. It is such an amazing thing to be a mom, I love it. It is so great to be the one that can almost always sooth Alexander. I also enjoy watching Jeremy be a dad, it is something that has come so natural for him. It is amazing to see how much he loves Alexander. I think he is complete fine with Alexander being his Birthday present that came 2 weeks early.

Alexander had his first trip to the Jacksonville Zoo on Tuesday the 16th. He slept thought the WHOLE thing, but Jeremy and I sure had a great time. He really enjoys to be in his stroller, and going out to

different places.

We are so excited to finally welcome our little man to his home. He has now been home for 7 full days and he loves it. His favorite part is his nursery. He is very observant of everything, I think he is going to be a fish lover. But really what choice does he have.

We are so fortunate that he is a great sleeper, he only wakes up once a night to feed at 3am and goes right back to sleep.

We are however learning the art of changing a little boy, man can he get some things wet.

He had his first doctor's visit on the 9th of January. She said that we are all doing great, better than most first time parents. We are so blessed to have Alexander in our lives, he is truly a gift from God
