Our little boy is growing so fast. Today I realized that Alexander has another tooth, so he is now up to 5 and it will soon be 6.
We just had his 9 month check up and he is 30 inches long and 21 lbs 13 oz. The doctor said that we could go ahead and start him on some meats and dairy. So this week he has got to try chicken, turkey and cheese, he is so loving it. She also said he is a bright little boy, but of course I knew that!
He took his first little step today. He was hold on to the bath tub and he turned around and took a step to me. I am pretty sure it will not be long and he will be running all over the place. He lets go and stands on his own a lot, which is so cool! He is getting very brave!
He loves cars! His grandma got him a xylophone and he pushes it around like it is a car. What can I say, he is ALL boy!
He is getting a lot more vocal. Today we went into a pet store and as soon as we walked in he said "Di di" for dixie, how cute is that? He also signed "more" for the first a couple of days ago. He does really use it a lot but his has done it a couple of time since.
Here are some pictures of Alexander in his new walker. We found it last weekend at a Garage Sale and got a GREAT deal on it. He loves it. The only problem is that he runs not walks in it.

Spooktacular
We went to the Jacksonville zoo for their Halloween Spooktacular. It was so much fun.
Alexander showing off his new teeth!
Fall fun
Alexander loved helping Grandpa open his birthday present.
We went to the Auburdale park and the first place Alexander went was to the wheels on the train. He really loves wheels.
We also made a trip to the pumpkin patch, Alexander liked the pumpkins but was not so sure about the hay. We picked out a pumpkin for his first Halloween. I cannot wait to carve it for him....more pictures to come.

Alexander and I went to the zoo and played at the playground. He loves it there, they have a BIG slide, a cool spider web and a huge birds nest. It is loads of fun, we try to go as much as we can...in fact we go so much we might turn into to monkeys.
This was so funny, Jeremy was blowing off the back porch and he turned the blower on Alexander's belly. He thought it was so funny. He keeps us laughing all the time.

Look at Alexander's teeth!
I took these pictures after he ate a biter biscuit, what a mess they make...but he loves them. I love these pictures, they are the first ones that I have that you can see this teeth.
Alexander has learned a couple of new things this week. He has started dancing, it is so cute. He bobs his little body up and down and shakes his head no. It is the funniest thing. He loves door, he opens and closes them over and over. He loves to help with the dishes. He will pull out either the spoons or his bottle nipples and play with them while I unload it. Below you will see his favorite thing...the fridge. He love the bottles on the bottom shelve. The glass makes noise when he move them. Of course Jeremy think it is great that he plays with them.

9 months old
Mommy's Boy
Well we are officially parents of a 9 month old.
Alexander has grown so much in the last couple of months it is hard to keep track of all the new stuff he is doing. We had a doctors appointment today because Alexander has a cold. He is now 21 pounds 11 ounces and 30 inches long. Everyone that sees him cannot believe he is only 9 months old.
He loves to eat, I have been giving him Vanilla Wafers, Cheerios, and Gerber Puffs. He does really good at pacing himself. I was worried he would shove a bunch in his mouth but he eats them one at a time. He is still nursing, he nurses every 4 hours and eats 3 jars of baby food a day. One for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bananas are his favorite currently although I did give him some spaghetti the other night and he loved it. Spaghetti is my favorite!
He is everywhere. He is crawling and pulling up on everything. He is holding on and walking down the couch and other furniture. He loves wheels, he has a dump truck and that is all he plays with on it. He loves to look down when riding in his stroller to see the wheels spin.....I guess he is all boy.
He now has 4 teeth, and I thought he would never get any! They have come in enough that when he smiles I can see the ones on top and when he cries I can see the ones on the bottom.
He starting waving bye bye, but only when he wants to. He still says "Di di" for Dixie and now he says "Ibb" for Libby. It is so cute when he says it because he does it in a high pitch tone. Which is how I say their names. Jeremy taught him how to give high fives. Jeremy is so excited that he has taught Alexander a cool trick.
I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds for us...
Here is one of the gates we have had to put up for Alexander. No matter what side of them he is on, he wants on the other!

Alexander went to his first football game...Thank you Uncle Zach, Aunt Kristy and Evie Kate.
We got to meet Knightro (the mascot for UCF). It was pretty cool, Knightro even jumped off his cart to see Alexander.
Tailgating
Papi made some yummy low country boil...it was GREAT! Alexander made his way around to see everyone. He loved playing with Uncle Tony, Aunt Penny, Mia and Papi.
Alexander was a hit with all the Knight fans. We put a Knight tattoo on the back of Alexander's head...everyone thought it was awesome.
Fun at the game.

Sea World
We love Sea World...we had so much fun going to there this weekend. We had some Yummy blue icees, as you can see. We visited the sting rays, horses and dolphins. Jeremy feed the sea loins and seals(their his favorite). Alexander loved the ice wall in the Artic. It was a little hot so we tried to do a lot indoors.
